How do I send a secure file to a non-HUB employee?

Every so often you may need to send a secure file to an employee.  To do this required that you first promote the employee to a standard contact.

Promote an employee to a standard contact:

1. Go to the home page and search for the company code in the search box at the top of the screen.


 

2. Once in the company details page, go to the Employees tab and click on the Employee's name.

 

2. Once in the employee details page, you will see 2 boxes on the right hand side of the page.  Click on "Promote this employee" (in second box)

 

3. A box will pop up that asks you the quesiton, "Would you also like to make employee a check stub administrator as well for this client?"  Choose "No" and click Promote this employee.

 

Send a Secure File:

Now that the employee has been promoted, you can now go to the Send a File section within FileGuardian.  Type in the employee's email address and send the file securely.

 

Demote the Employee:

As a FileGuardian user, you do not have the ability to demote the employee within FileGuardian.  Therefore, once you have sent the file to the employee, please contact SHUGO support and we can demote the employee on your behalf.
