Help, My Shugo Outlook Plug-In Has Disappeared

Find your version of Outlook below!

Outlook 2013 

  1. Go to File tab in Outlook

  2. Click on  Options

  3. Click on  Add-ins
    Outlook 2013-4
  4. Check to see if Shugo FileGuardian Outlook Plugin appears in either the  “Inactive Application Add-ins” or the “Disabled Application Add-ins”.
  5. If Shugo FileGuardian Outlook Plugin is showing in the “Inactive Application Add-ins”, then
    1. At the bottom of the screen, choose Manage: “COM Add-ins” and click Go.
    2. Check Shugo FileGuardian Outlook Plugin box and click OK

    3. Close out of Outlook and re-open.
    4. If Shugo Outlook is still not showing up please contact support for further assistance.

    If Shugo FileGuardian Outlook Plugin is showing in “Disabled Application Add-ins”, then
    1. At the bottom of the screen choose Manage: “Disabled Items” and click Go.

    2. Shugo File Guardian should appear in the list of applications that are disabled. Highlight  Shugo Plugin application and click “Enable”.

    3. Close out of Outlook and re-open.
    4. If Shugo Outlook is still not showing up please contact support for further assistance.

Outlook 2010

  1. Go to File tab in Outlook

  4. Check to see if Shugo FileGuardian Outlook Plugin appears in either the  “Inactive Application Add-ins” or the “Disabled Application Add-ins”
  5. If Shugo FileGuardian Outlook Plugin is showing in the “Inactive Application Add-ins”
    1. Then at the bottom of the screen choose Manage: “COM Add-ins” and click Go.

    2. Check Shugo FileGuardian Outlook Plugin box and click OK
    3. Close out of Outlook and re-open.
    4. If Shugo Outlook is still not showing up please contact support for further assistance.
    If Shugo FileGuardian Outlook Plugin is showing in “Disabled Application Add-ins”
    1. Then at the bottom of the screen choose Manage: “Disabled Items” and click Go.

    2. Shugo File Guardian should appear in the list of applications that are disabled.  Highlight Shugo Plugin application and click “Enable”.

    3. Close out of Outlook and re-open.
