Reporting: What You're Billed For

IMPORTANT: As of April 1, 2018, billing procedures have changed for FileGuardian and HUB. Please contact your SwipeClock Channel Development Manager for more information on billing.  
FileGuardian provides a reporting section, available to all FileGuardian Administrators, that includes total usage fees, including a breakdown of usage for each Shugo service. This guide will walk through how to visit the reporting area within FileGuardian and how to track clients and employees tied to specific products and utilization.
  1. FGX Reporting: Once logged into FileGuardian as an administrator, you will visit the FGX-Express link at the top of the screen. Next, you will click on the “Reporting” button on the bottom left.

  2. Usage Summary: Your initial reporting view will list your usage summary for the current month, breaking down each of service utilized. Figures for the current month are calculated daily including all usage up to 4:00 am EST on the current day.

    Click "Change Period" on the Reporting page to see historical billing data
    If you are interested in looking at a previous month, or year, you can use the “change period” link to update the reporting period being displayed.
  3. Usage Details: The “Usage Details” section will break down the usage by client code, including the services utilized by each client*. In this example, there are five HUB users for company 2389, one utilizing HUB’s Full Suite of services and four using HUB’s Basic Suite.

    *NOTE: You can visit a client’s specific FGX rule to see the current setup and sevices configuration.
  4. Export to CSV: The “Usage Details” section is exportable to CSV giving you control to slice and dice the data as you need.  Simply click the “Export to CSV” link and save the file to your computer.
